FREE PROGRAM funding provided by Councilman Eric Ulrich for Rockaway Residents 50+ yrs of age.

The National Council on Aging in collaboration with Kingsborough Community College presents:

LIVE WELL-DO WELL-AGE WELL

This is a 10-week program based on the National Aging Mastery Program designed to offer participants 50+ yrs of age, the skills and tools needed to achieve measurable improvements in managing health, remaining economically secure, and contributing actively in society.  

The following topics will be covered:

Navigating Longer Lives

The Basics of Aging Mastery

Exercise and You

Sleep

Healthy Eating and Hydration

Financial Fitness

Medication Management

Advance Planning

Healthy Relationships

Falls Prevention

Community Engagement

DATES: Thursdays October 4, 2018 – December 13, 2018 (No class 11/22)

Time: 2:15-3:45pm (Doors open 2:00pm)

Limited seats available.  You must be 50+yrs of Age, Rockaway Resident, and be in attendance for a minimum of 7 out of the 10 classes in order to graduate.
